In order to best co-ordinate the "Ruby Meetup and Japanese Cooking with COOKPAD!" event, we wanted to clarify the plan:

As some people have expressed concern, we are clarifying that the invitations will be based on a drawing from all applications received and NOT first come first served. We think this is fairest, and hopefully we can fit all of you in!

The registrations for the event will open on the Thursday August 19th.

• Aug.25th (Wed.) Notification of the drawing result

If you have already applied, there is no need to apply again as long as you received our email confirmation.

一般参加チケットまたは個人スポンサーチケットをお持ちの方の、日本Ruby会議2010の本編受付方法をおしらせします。 なお、スピーカー、企画責任者、コミッタ、スポンサー各社の方、プレス関係社の方の受付方法につきましては、別途改めてご案内いたします。

受付方法

• 日本Ruby会議2010本編チケットを印刷して、会場受付にご持参下さい。印刷が困難な場合は受付で何らかのデバイスに表示させるなどしてご提示ください。スムーズな受付のために、できるだけプリントアウトをお持ちいただくことにご協力ください。プリンタをお持ちでない方は、コンビニで受け取れるネットプリントサービスの活用もご検討ください。
  • チケットは日本Ruby会議2010のサイトにサインのうえご確認ください。
• 会場受付にて入場証となる名札をお配りします。
  • 会場内では必ず名札をご着用ください。
  • 館内のセキュリティの都合上、入場証がなければ会場への入場は認められません。
  • 名札は会期中を通して有効な入場証となります。再入場の際はかならず着用をお願いします。

注意事項

* Information about RubyKaigi2010 admission

• For your RubyKaigi 2010 ticket, please bring a print-out of the ticket or display it on some mobile device at the reception.
• We will hand out a name tag which will also act as your entrance pass at the reception.
  • You must always wear your name tag while you are in the conference venue.
  • Due to security concerns, we won’t allow you to enter the venue without the name tag.
• Your name tag will be your pass during the whole conference. Please show your name tag when re-entering the venue.

RubyKaigi2010で行われる企画の一つ Vim では、現在企画内でのラ イトニングトーク発表者を募集しています。 以下に募集の内容を掲載しますので、Vim について興味のある方は是非応募してみてはいかがでしょうか。

企画の概要

Rubyistの約半数が使用していると噂の統合開発環境Vimについて、 使いこなすためのノウハウや快適にRubyコードを書くためのテクニックを 交換しあう勉強会です。 当日は有志によるライトニングトーク、Q&A、 および会場内で得た知識を実践するためのfree hack時間を設け、 参加者のVim戦闘力を向上させる予定です。

This is a workshop for both beginner and advanced users to share tips and tricks for development with Vim, one of the ultimate IDEs that is used by half of Rubyists.
