* Ruby会議2011 のライトニングトークを募集します
日本Ruby会議2011 実行委員のしまだです。
いわゆるライトニングトークによるプレゼンテーションを募集します。 Ruby に関するアプリケーションのデモや Ruby に関する主張、その他なんでも、発表したいことがある人はぜひご応募ください。
日本Ruby会議2011 のライトニングトークスについて
ライトニングトークスは1時間で5分間のプレゼンテーションを 11 本行うオーソドックスなスタイルになる予定です。日本Ruby会議2011のライトニングトークスは、 7 月17 日 (日)の夕方と 18 日 (月) の夕方の 2 回実施する予定です。
ライトニングトークス発表者の入場チケットについて
ライトニングトークス発表者も入場チケットが必要です。もしも、事前にチケットを購入できなかった場合は、実費にてチケットの斡旋を行います。懇親会については、通常の参加者と同様です。つまり、特別に斡旋などはいたしません。

* RubyKaigi2011 Call For Lightning Talk (LT)
RubyKaigi 2011 is currently assembling proposals for Lightning Talks (LT). We're looking for talks on a wide range of topics, from demos of Ruby applications, to your opinions about Ruby itself, and so forth. Please apply if you're interested!
About Lightning Talks on RubyKaigi 2011
We're planning to run a standard battery of 11 talks, each of strictly 5 minutes duration, in a solid 1 hour session. This session will be held in the afternoon of Day 2 (Sunday, July 17) and Day 3 (Monday, July 18).
Presentations will be selected from the proposals by the RubyKaigi 2010 Team.
Regarding Tickets for Lightning Talk Speakers
Please be aware that LT speakers will need tickets to attend the conference. If you are selected as an LT speaker, but were unable to purchase a ticket in advance, the committee shall make arrangements for you to purchase a ticket.
NOTICE: We cannot make arrangements for RubyKaigi 2011 Official Conference Party. You need you own conference party admission if you'd like to attend.

応募にあたって、年齢性別国籍を問いません。また、タイマー係/ドラ娘共に、写真撮影，動画の中継，録画の配信に同意したものと見なしますので、同意されない方のご応募はご遠慮下さい。ライトニングトークスは、会期中の 7 月 17 日 (日) の夕方と 18 日 (月)の夕方の 2 回を予定しています。

日本Ruby会議2011実行委員のこしばです。
日本Ruby会議2011では、学生の参加者の方の金銭的な負担を軽減するために学生無料参加制度を設けています。 RubyやRubyに関する活動にご興味のある学生の方は、下記をお読みいただいた上でエントリーしてください。
対象者
学生（大学院生及び専門学校生を含む）
エントリー方法
まず、下記URLの学生無料参加制度エントリーフォームからエントリーをお願いします。

その上で、日本Ruby会議2011当日の受付窓口で学生証（生徒手帳）をご提示いただくと、無料でご参加いただけます。
学割エントリー期間
本日から2011/06/30頃を予定しております。 但しエントリー状況によっては早めにエントリー受付を終了することがあります。
注意事項
- 会場には必ず学生証（生徒手帳）をご持参下さい。お忘れの場合は入場いただけません。
- 学生無料参加制度を利用された場合、一般参加の方にお配りするノベルティグッズはお渡しできません。ノベルティグッズが欲しい方は、チケットをお求め下さい。
- 懇親会に参加するには、別途懇親会チケットをお買い求めください。

If you are a student who loves the Ruby language and would like to participate RubyKaigi2011, please read the following and submit the entry form.
Eligibility
Students (includes graduate school and vocational school students)
How to entry
First, you need to fill a form in the following URL.

Then, you must bring your student identification card and show it at the reception desk to be in this program.
Dates
The entry form will be open until June 30th, 2011 (JST). We might close the form early.
Notes
- Please bring your student identification card at the conference. If not, you will not be admitted.
- With this program, you will not receive the novelties. If you would like to receive them, please buy your conference ticket instead.
