日本Ruby会議2011スタッフの tmaeda です。
RubyKaigi2011の素晴らしい発表をより多くの人たちに届けるため、 ビデオの内容(日本語 or 英語)を正しく聞き取り、文字で字幕をつける 字幕職人ボランティアを募集します。
作業は http://www.universalsubtitles.org/ を利用して行います。 大変よくできたインターフェースなので、効率よく字幕作業ができます。

* Call for volunteers to make subtitles in RubyKaigi2011 videos

To make more people enjoy RubyKaigi 2011 presentations, we need volunteers who make subtitles in English and Japanese. First we add subtitles in the original language (i.e. English subtitle for presentations in English), then we add translated subtitles based on the subtitles in the original language.
We are using http://www.universalsubtitles.org/ , that has a very good user interface so that we can cooperate efficiently.
