* The second round of ticket sales for Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012’s official party will commence #sprk2012

This is Yutaka, one of the organizers of Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012.

The first round of sales for the official party is already sold out, but because we were able to use another restaurant within the Grand Hotel, we are able to increase the number of attendees, and will offer a second round of sales.

There is only a limited number of ticket available, so please get one while they last.

Additionally, during this second round of sales, we are allowing at the door purchase for those who can’t complete payment with PayPal. However, if at all possible, please purchase a ticket in advance.

いわゆるライトニングトークによるプレゼンテーションを募集します。 Ruby に関するアプリケーションのデモや Ruby に関する主張、Ruby を使う人たちがもっとコードを書くことを楽しむことができるような話題、その他なんでも、 発表したいことがある人はぜひご応募ください。

札幌Ruby会議2012 のライトニングトークスについて

ライトニングトークスは1時間で5分間のプレゼンテーションを 11 本行うオーソドックスなスタイルになる予定です。札幌Ruby会議2012のライトニングトークスは、 9 月15 日 (土) の夕方に実施する予定です。

ライトニングトークス発表者の入場チケットについて

ライトニングトークス発表者も入場チケットが必要です。懇親会についても通常の参加者と同様となります(特別に斡旋などはいたしません)ので、お忘れのないようお申し込みをお願いいたします。

* Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012: Call For Lightning Talk (LT) #sprk2012

Sappporo RubyKaigi 2012 is currently assembling proposals for Lightning Talks (LT). We're looking for talks on a wide range of topics, from demos of Ruby applications, to your opinions about Ruby itself, ways for Rubyists to make writing code more fun, and so forth. Please apply if you're interested!

About Lightning Talks on Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012

We're planning to run a standard battery of 11 talks, each of strictly 5 minutes duration, in a solid 1 hour session. This session will be held in the afternoon of Day 2 (Saturday, Sep 15) .

Regarding Tickets for Lightning Talk Speakers

Please be aware that LT speakers will need tickets to attend the conference.

NOTICE: We cannot make arrangements for Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012 Official Conference Party. You need you own conference party admission if you'd like to attend.

How to Submit a Proposal

We will accept proposals via github pull requests (the same system as EuRoKo 2012). Details are at the URL below.

本編チケットの２次販売用に新たに用意したチケットは現在キャンセル待ちにご登録されている方々の分で全て完売となりました。

当初はキャンセル待ちの方々へ手配したあとで２次販売分のチケットが余ると見込んでいたのですが、 想像よりもたくさんの方にキャンセル待ちにご登録いただいたことで ２次販売分の在庫が全て無くなる結果となってしまいました。 本編チケットの２次販売を待ってくださっていた皆さま、大変申し訳ありません。

今後キャンセルされる方が出る可能性もございますので、 チケットを入手できなかった方は是非キャンセル待ちにご登録をいただけますと幸いです。

* The second round tickets of the Sapporo RubyKaigi 2012 main event have been sold out only by the waitlist. #sprk2012

This is Koji, the organizing director of Sapporo Ruby Kaigi 2012.

I announce that all of the second round tickets of the main event have been sold out only by the waitlist.

At first, we estimated that there would be the remaining tickets even after applying them to the waitlist, but more people than we expected registered to the waitlist, then now there is no stock for the second round sales.

We have to say very sorry to those who has been waiting for the second round sales. Some cancels could happen, so we hope those who could not get and still want the tickets register to the waitlist.

Still, there are some remaining tickets of the official party, we will announce just after our preparation has been done. Those who are in the waitlist also have the priority to get the party tickets, so we would like those who want the party tickets to register to the party waitlist in advance.
